DESCRIPTION:
This course will help you with all aspects of starting your own birthday party business either by going to customers homes or at your choice of a fixed position.
GOALS:
- Understand what it takes to work with children and their parents.
- Identify the area which you feel most comfortable with and how to create it.
- Apply your knowledge and creativity into your own company.
- Develop new ideas and make decisions wisely
REQUIREMENTS:
This course requires an ability to read and comprehend at a high school level and does not require any previous education but suggests that the student have prior expereince working with the public, or an ability to learn . The course has 6 lessons, 2 quizzes and 2 polls. All students will participate and signify that the lessons have been read by completing the assignments, quizzes, polls and forums.All students must be willing to explore their own strengths and weaknesses while finding ways to use them to their own advantage. You will be assigned questions which will help you explore both.
Each student will be willing to keep their options open in order to bring in help in the areas which they feel may cause a weakness in their business. I.E. other professionals, workers, students, etc.
Each student must be able to evaluate and re-evaluate their own business ideas and ideals at the end of the course.
There are no required books to read but I have made a suggestion that you read my books which I have combined into one for this course. It will help you with more specific photographs and illustrated lessons in face painting, and more.
Grading System
This course has a point system for the quizzes.
Quiz one is worth 15 points.
Quiz two is worth 30. You will have a chance to improve your score if at any time you are not satisfied.
The lessons and assignments are considered passed if you complete them.
