Course Description
What is a Chakra?
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning, "wheel", or "wheel of light". Our human bodies contain 7 major chakras that influence every organ and gland in our body. When one chakra is affected, the body as a whole becomes affected. What will this course teach me?
This course will show you, the student, how to bring balance and harmony to your physical, emotional and mental body using simple and easy to use chakra techniques. You will be taught how to cleanse, balance, and energize the chakra system in your body. Healthy functioning chakras will allow your body to maintain health and well being. The techniques shown in this course will allow you to use them rebalancing techniques for yourself, your family, and your friends. Course Requirements
Does this course require any previous education? While it is easier to understand the Chakra system if you are already practicing healing work, there is no previous experience requirements to taking this course. This course is simple to follow and easy to understand. It is designed for the beginner energy worker.
How is this Course taught?
This course is taught in 8 lessons, 16 assignments, and 8 quizzes.
The First Lesson is a Chakra overview. Here you will learn about the 7 major chakras of the human body. You will discover Chakra associations to color, notes, planets, elements, even to the organs of your body. You will learn basic techniques to open and close Chakras, tonify and energize Chakras, as well as how to balance Chakras for physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Lessons 2-8 will be as follows:
Lesson 2 - The Root Chakra
Lesson 3 - The Sacral Chakra
Lesson 4 - The Solar Plexus Chakra
Lesson 5 - The Heart Chakra
Lesson 6 - The Throat Chakra
Lesson 7 - The Brow Chakra
Lesson 8 - The Crown Chakra In each lesson, students will be introduced to basic information regarding that particular Chakra. Students will learn what physical ailments are attributed to each Chakra, as well as, what emotional and mental elements is brought on when a Chakra is not functioning properly.
Students will be able to take this knowledge and help aid in the healing and balancing of Chakra for themselves and others.
Course Goals
What Will I Learn from this Course? This course is designed to provide students with methods of activating, balancing and cleansing chakras.
Students will also be able to bring harmony into their physical, emotional and mental body.
Students will be able to use Chakra techniques, such as cleansing and balancing, on themselves as well as others.
How Long will this Course take me to Finish?
Each student is encouraged to work at their own pace. You may find that you need to work on one lesson (or Chakra) for a longer period than another. Please allow yourself at least one week to work on each of your chakras. Do the meditations, exercises, and assignments. Visit the websites that are listed in the Class NetLinks sections of each Lesson Plan. Be sure to post your findings on the student forum and share both your questions and experienced with others.
How is this Course Graded?
There are 8 quizzes in this course. One for each of the Lesson plans. These quizzes are to test your understanding of what you have just read in the Lesson Plan. You will need to receive at least a 70% correct answers on each of the quizzes before you can move on to the next Lesson plan. The quizzes consist of 15 questions. You will need to answer at least 10 out of the a5 questions correctly before you can advance to the next lesson. If you should somehow fail the test, you will able to retake the test.
This is a Pass/Fail system

"New Chakra Healing" by Cyndi Dale
Grading Policy
There is a test at the end of each lesson. Students must be able to obtain a 70% in correct answers (that at least 10 out of 15) befor they can proceed on to the next lesson. you may retake the test as many times as you would like. This test is only one way in which I will be able to measure a student's understanding in the current lesson plan. If the student needs any additional information or help, I will be available via e-mail to help.
