Course Description
"A Course In Bible Healing" is a seven-week course that explores and documents the spiritual healing that permeates both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The class examines both the teaching and the demonstration of healing as it was practiced by patriarchs and prophets of the Old Testament, and by Jesus Christ and his followers in the New Testament. The class objective is for students to learn to emulate this healing practice in their own lives.
Course Requirements
The most important requirement is an open mind and a willingness to re-examine popular, historical, and conventional Biblical interpretations that do not lend themselves to healing. Familiarty with Scripture is not a requirement, but it would be most helpful.
Course Goals
1. Learn to heal yourself and others by the same prayerful method Jesus taught his disciples.
2. Learn how to discern the difference between truth and error.
3. Establish your thinking firmly on a groundwork of Spirit and on the discernment of spiritual reality.
4. Develope a spiritual frame of reference with which to interpret Scripture more accurately.
Reading Materials
Selected chapters and verse from the Bible -- preferably the KJV. Other reading material will be made available online and accessible to students at their convenience.
Grading Policy
Students will be required to score a minimum of 50% in the class to receive a passing grade. Those students achieving 75% or better will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Academic Excellence. Grades will be determined by results of lessons submitted, assignments and quizzes completed, and class participation.
