Course Description

Leadership, delegation, motivation and coaching--all necessary skills to become an effective supervisor. Learn all these skills in one easy course. Gain supervisory skills, tools to become a great leader, understand your leadership qualities, correct poor performance, motivate employees, win over difficult employees and learn to coach your work team. This course is great for first-time supervisors, supervisors of challenging employees or managers that want to polish their leadership skills. We will evaluate leadership skills, identify leadership traits, learn goal setting techniques and build coaching skills. Learn how to conduct performance feedback sessions, counsel difficult employees and complete team building exercises. Most importantly, we will have some fun while learning.

Course Requirements

Complete all lessons and assignments Complete two multiple choice tests, open book/open notes.

Pre-requisite: High school diploma

Grading Policy

To pass the course you will need the following: -70% or higher on open book Test 1 and 2 (Test may be retaken until passed) -Completion of all assignments

Length of Course

The course is designed for 5 weeks (one lesson per week). However, due to many working adults balancing busy schedules--you may take up to 10 weeks to complete the course.
