Course Description
This course will meet or exceed educational requirements for the study of the human body, Beginners Anatomy and it's adjustable for Intermediate Anatomy levels. Have you ever wondered why the Funny Bone is called that? Did you know that you blink your eyes about 20,000 times a day? Did you know that an eyelash life is about 150 days before it falls out or that 400 gallons of blood flow through your kidneys each day? What about your body's blood vessels--placed end to end all would measure about 62,000 miles? All those (and hundreds more) strange but true facts are found here!
Early learners and advanced alike will enjoy this course! First we teach you the body parts, then the systems and then the functions of each. Filled with interactive games, online movies and activities, and an Academics Achievement Competition! It is a fun learning experience for the whole family.
Course Requirements
You will work at your own pace, but need to accomplish your goals in a timely manner. Some teachers like to take a lesson a day, some may do three per week. Regardless, you will be given lessons to read with an assignment for each. There will be links to movies, printouts to complete, and quizzes to take. These will all contain information necessary to learn the skills required. You must also have each answer spelled correctly as that is a part of learning your anatomy. By following each link, reading the lessons, and using the resources for this class, you will find all the information you need to know more about your Anatomy.

Your goals for taking this course should be to learn the human anatomy-inside and out. You will first learn in layman terms, then increase learning to know the medical terminology.
