Letters from students

I am a student of universal.com and Excel.
I am taking this course because I have no Excel experience. I started a
temporary work assignment this past summer and one of my primary
responsibilities has been financial spreadsheets. Yipes! Needless to say, I
have had moments of panic. I investigated several online courses, but was
most impressed by universal.com. The price was right and the description of
the course accurately described my Excel ability . By mid-course, I am
feeling pretty comfortable doing formulas and spreadsheets. Believe me, I
have come a long way in a short period of time.

Ms. Houston is a wonderful instructor. Her lessons are extremely
interesting. I can hardly wait to finish a lesson and go on to the next
challenge. She is very responsive to e-mails
for help, and has gotten me
through some jams both on assignments and work projects. I know that no
matter what, she will come through!!! She is also VERY patient in explaining
assignments or subject matter. No question is too stupid.

The quizzes at the end of the lessons are challenging. It s fun! After you take
the test, she sends your mark with the correct answers. It s great.

We students are encouraged to frequently participate in forums and class e-
mails. This is very interesting and in some cases, very informative. This class
concept is more interesting than attending a community college where you
attend the class and go home. Here, online, you are an active member of a
class! Who would have thought???

Anyway, I have shared my universal.com experience with several friends who
are considered taking classes and if you get the impression that I am
thoroughly enjoying this course, you re right.

I wholeheartedly recommend this course and Therese Houston. I wish she
had other courses.

HEY AGAIN. I JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK U FOR HAVING ME
TAKE YOUR CLASS. I REALLY ENJOYED IT AND LEARNED
ALOT. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
I HAD A BLAST. IF U NEED TO CONTACT ME FOR
ANY REASON PLEASE FEEL FREE TO AT XXXXXXX.com i LOOK
FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AGAIN SOON AND
I WOULD LOVE TO TAKE ANOTHER OF YOUR CLASSES AGAIN.
THANKS AGAIN!

Dear Madam, this is to say thank you very much for helping me in learning Excel basics.

lloyd perera.

I just want you to know that I wish all instructors
were like you! You are very quick to answer
any questions. You also grade any assignments and
quizzes very quickly. I really appreciate
that. I'm taking another course & I wait a week
or so sometimes before I know how I did.
That can be very frustrating. I like this class
& I think a lot of that can be attributed to the
fact that you get back to us with our scores so we
know how we're doing. I like the project, too.
I just wanted to let you know.

Thanks, Shelby
