Course Description
This course covers the first part of the book of Genesis; chapters one through ten. There will be a class covering the second half of Genesis soon. There are five lessons in the class. The class covers in great depth: the creation story, Adam and Eve and the first sin, Cain and Abel and the murder of Abel, Noah and his ark during the great flood, and more about Noah and his descendants. This course is easy to read and follow, and will help you learn a lot about the book of Genesis. The lessons are a summarization of the biblical text, put into every day language.
There are assignment questions that are open to your interpretation, and will challenge you to come in touch with your feelings about the stories in Genesis. There is an exam after each lesson. They are fifteen questions that are multiple choice and true/false and will help you to see if you retained the information.
This course is taught by someone who has studied the bible their whole life, and the class will explain the Book of Genesis in an easy to understand format for you.
