Course Description
Diets are short term. To lose weight and keep it off you must make a commitment to a lifestyle change. This course is designed to help people learn how to adopt a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. There will be lessons on determining your caloric requirements, nutritional recommendations, healthy recipes and losing weight. These are lessons that will last a lifetime and you will likely find yourself referring to the lessons time and again, long after you have completed them.
I lost 100 pounds and changed my life! This simple, effective plan can get you started!
Course Requirements
There are really no requirements for this course, although a journal for keeping a food diary may prove helpful.Â

I do advise, however, that before you begin any change in your diet or exercise program that you clear it with your doctor first.
Course Goals

* Learn about appropriate exercise and its benefits
* Learn about healthy recipes
* Learn about healthy and low fat snack options
* Feel better about yourself, regardless of your size.
Course Materials
All the course materials are contained within the course. There are no additional books to purchase or extra things to do. This should not be difficult, I want to make it as easy as possible.
I do recommend that you print out the lessons because you will find them beneficial.
Grading Policy
I will grade the lessons and exams that you submit. These are great evaluations that indicate where you are and what you need to work on in your life. The assignments are more introspective and lead you to explore yourself more deeply.
Grading on the assignments will be done according to how thought-out your answers appear. If I see that you are really thinking you will get good marks. If I see that you may benefit from thinking a little deeper, I will email you and we can discuss it further. The exams will measure your comprehension of the material. This will be very straightforward grading.
