Course Description
As our society ages, a demand for caring, loving, and informed caregivers is growing.
Â
In this course, a basic body of knowledge will be presented to assist both professional and non-professional caregivers as they accept increasingly more complex responsibilities. This introductory course covers the legal issues, safety issues, and basic skills needed to provide homecare for seniors.
Â
The course is designed for those who wish to provide services professionally as an individual contractor or as a staff member for a non-medical homecare agency/registry.
