Course Description
This test prep course will focus on the basic skills necessary to successfully complete the GED essay (GED Language and Arts Writing Test Part 2). The majority of students preparing to take a GED test will often have the greatest problem with the essay exam. GED students often lack the confidence, the experience, and the skills required to write a passing essay. This course will provide each of these factors; and GED students will gain the confidence (because of course informational tips and strategies), and gain experience and skills (with the course writing essay practice and grammar review) to successfully tackle the GED essay test.
This course will focus on the Essay portion of the GED exam.

Course Requirements
This course (like the GED) requires at least a ninth grade level of reading and writing. The class will make use of the English Language, so it is highly recommended that you have a firm grasp and can clearly communicate in this language. There are no other requirements for completing this course. The course content will present a great deal of information and helpful resources- how you use this material is entirely up to you.

Grading Policy
There will be 5 full scale essay practice test and assignment which will be graded on a 4 point scale, which will be the format used in the GED testing environment. There will also be practice assignment that will target note, outline taking, terms, sentence structure, and paragraph review.
