Course Description

CT Summation iBlaze - Beginner Level is an ideal learning tool for attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, litigation support personnel, or anyone who would like to enter the litigation support profession.  Also, this course will teach the learner the essentials necessary to become a proficient end-user in CT Summation iBlaze.  Also, this course will give the learner the knowledge necessary to compete for employment opportunities in the litigation support profession.

 Moreover, activities include learning all elements of CT Summation cases, including transcripts, the core database, electronic discovery, images, OCR base, companion databases and case tools. Participants will learn how to navigate CT Summation iBlaze; search all case elements; load case elements; become familiar with case tools;  In addition, the learner will become familiar with CT Summation's integration capabilities for maximum results.  Finally, the learner will become familiar with manipulating images, administering case utilities, and customizing CT Summation iBlaze. 

This course is a must for anyone who is new to CT Summation iBlaze, and would like to become proficient in this litigation support software in a short period of time.

 

Course Requirements

Summation iBlaze - Beginner Level is entirely self-contained. Everything you need to complete this course is available to you -- for free -- in the Virtual Classroom. There are no books or other materials to buy. In addition, this course is open to everyone, regardless of prior education or experience. All you need is a computer, an Internet connection, and a strong desire to succeed, you are welcome to join us.

Course Goals

Summation iBlaze - Beginner Level will fully-prepare you to enter the litigation technology arena as a proficient end-user. It will teach you the skills needed to effectively utilize Summation iBlaze in a employed capacity in a law firm or other corporate office setting.

Course Materials

You are not 'required' to purchase books for this class. All materials will be provided online or through class net links.

Grading Policy

Grading will be based upon a 100 point system. Grades of 70 and above are passing. This course is self-paced, but absence from class for 20 consequetive days will be taken as evidence that a student does not intend to complete the course; the instructor will drop the student. Coursework consists of lessons with related assignments, and tests.
