Course Description

A Client based email program is one which is located on the hard disk of a Computer, and not web based. This Tutorial will teach you how to use a popular client based email program called Eudora.

The following are just a few things Eudora can do:

  • Perform many email management functions automatically. For example, it can automatically reply to a request for information, transfer messages to specific mailboxes, and label certain messages as important.
  • Keep an almost unlimited number of messages for as long as the computer exists, because messages are stored on the computer's hard disk.
  • Re-read and Search for old messages without connecting to the Internet.
  • Store Phone numbers and other details of all your contacts.
  • Have email messages sorted and filed automatically as they come into Eudora.
  • Have Standard Letters formatted and set up ready to send out by just adding your contact's details.
  • Configure different email accounts and Signature Files.
  • Create a simple HTML page, ready to be published on the World Wide Web, and more....

All Lessons are step by step with graphical instructions and lots of examples. If you're a manager, teacher, secretary, student, a business owner, or you just want your personal communication organized, this course could cut your work load in half and make it a lot of fun!

This course has a strong emphasis on organisation and email management techniques.

There are no start or end dates for this course. If worked on consistently for about 2 hours a week, it should be completed in 10 weeks.
