Communicating with friends and relatives is one thing; communicating with anyone else falls into the realm of Business Communications. Think about it: when you are communicating to others, you're either 'Buying' or 'Selling' and the way in which you communicate can tell the person you're talking to, a lot about you: your education level; your intelligence; your needs; your social level. Your skill in communicating can change your future.
Course Requirements
There are no special requirements nor course materials for this Course. It is assumed that you have High School equivalency English and that you have some working experience. You are expected to participate with the expectation of learning from this course. It is our responsibility to ensure that our Course delivery will provide that learning environment.

Our goal in offering this Course is to help you understand the importance of communicating effectively and convincingly in your efffots to achieve success. Success in business depends upon other people understanding you and believing in you. We are all in sales and we are all consumers. Even if we are not selling a product or service...we are still selling ourselves in every communication activity that we undertake.
Course Materials
Courses Available: Course One: Introduction to the Communication Model. This Course has 5 Lessons; a series of quizzes plus a Final Exam. We deal with An Introduction to Business Communications; Communications in Organizations; Cultural Diveristy; Planning, Writing and Completing Messages; Faxes, Memos, Email, Letters and Lesson 6: Resumes and Interviews and Negotiations.
Grading Policy
Our grading policy is reflected by your scores in your quizzes and your achievement of a formal essay at the conclusion of each Lesson. These essays will be graded on a percentage scale wherein a minimum of 70% is required to pass.
