Course Description
This course was created to help those of you who are trying to lose weight, do so in a way that is right for your individual needs. In many ways this is more than a class, it is also a support group; a safe place where you will be accepted just as you are.
In this self-paced class we will explore the technical aspects of weight loss as well as the spiritual and emotional aspects. You will learn about nutrition, supplementation, and how to create a weight loss plan that works for your own individual needs. You will also learn to let go of your negative attitudes about your body. You will learn about alternative therapies and methods to help you reach your weight loss goals quickly and easily. We will have on-line chats and support sessions for those who are interested as well.I look forward to supporting you along the way.
Course Requirements
To be successful in this course you will want to visit all web links provided. I recommend that you take enough time with each lesson to absorb the information presented, before moving on to the next lesson. All required reading can be found within the course materials, and selected websites. I also recommend that you participate and post on the class discussion board, and in support chats as often as you can. Your classmates can provide very valuable insights and support. You will easily reach your weight loss goals if you take advantage to all of the resources available within the course, and remain dedicated to succeed.

For this class you will need an open mind, and a creative spirit. You also must be willing to reach out and give support to your classmates when they are in need. The more you put into this class, the more you will get out of it. All texts for this course are available for free on the internet.
Grading Policy
Assignments are worth various points, depending on the amount of time required to complete them. Quizzes are multiple choice and true or false. Quizzes are graded based on the number of points per question. Certificates of merit and achievement are available.
