Course Description
This course will teach you the core basics of the tarot, by allowing you to learn practical systems of connection intuitively. You will discover how the tarot evolved, as well as develop an innate understanding of the symbols and significance of each cards. You will develop skills that will allow you to depend less on memorization and more on your intuitive connections with each deck.
You will take a journey through history, through meditation, explore the elements and basic symbols that make the tarot a powerful tool of divination.

Course Requirements
All necessary reading material is included.Student should invest in a tarot deck. It is advisable to purchase the Rider-Waite deck since it's the easiest to learn. However, it is not necessary to buy that deck, but it is essential to have a deck for all the exercises involved. This course is a completely a hands-on type and a deck will make the course easier to follow and enjoy.You can buy decks online (www.mysticearth.us) or at your local Barnes and Nobles. It is essential that students do the exercises and not rely only on reading the material. The key to learning how to read the deck is to simply use them. If you don't bother to do any of the exercise, you would have wasted your tiem. Think of it like reading a bunch of cookbooks and never once trying out a recipe. You cannot say you can cook by only reading...neither can you state you know how to read the tarot by taking lessons and reading. Practice is the key to ALL intuitive development.
Course Goals
The goal of this course is to help students develop an intuitive connection to the tarot deck and read it with ease and confidence.
Course Materials
You will need a basic tarot deck. You can purchase them online, http://mysticearth.us or through local barnes and nobles. Otherwise, all reading material is included and some useful links for more information.
Grading Policy
All assignments and test need to be completed for a passing grade. Passing test scores should be over 55% for passing. Pass or Fail grading system.
