This course is not only designed to teach the basic gardening elements but also to provide resource information for beginners. There are several different levels of gardening covered in the course: the most basic, plus intermediate and advanced as well as specific gardening topics.

This class also offers assistance with choosing the plants for your environment as well as starting, caring, and harvesting your products. You will learn the basics that are needed to start your journey with nature inside and outside your home plus the added bonus of how to preserve your products.

Course Requirements

You are required to complete all the assignments, lessons, quiz, final, and forums in order to pass this course. You will choose what area you want to do your final project in and let me know within two weeks of signing up for the course. The final project can be either one of the following: indoor, outdoor, herbal, or houseplants.

Course Goals

The goals of this course are to learn the basics of different forms of gardening. The goal of the first lesson is to learn the basics of gardening. The next lesson s goal is to learn the knowledge of Container Gardening. The third lesson s goal is learning the basics of Outdoor Gardening. The goal of the fourth lesson is to learn the basics of Herbal Gardening. The goal of the following lesson is to learn about growing and caring for Houseplants. The goal of the last lesson is to Harvest and Storing of your products such as herbs, flower seeds, and other products.

Course Materials

A valid email address and internet connection.

Grading Policy

Grading: A 90-100 B 80-89 C 70-79 D 60-69 F 59>
