Course Requirements

At least a high school education is required to fully understand the medical and legal issues involved in client safety. Some college or related experience is helpful but not required. You complete this course on line by reading the lessons then completing the assignments and tests. The course is five lessons long with each lesson having an assignment and a test. You can work at your own pace and complete the course in 2 to 8 weeks or longer if you prefer. You can earn professional quality class certificates to hang on your wall to show your merit and achievements.

Course Goals

To teach you everything you need to know to safely pierce clients and set up and run your own professional body piercing shop at a profit! You can make more than the course fee on your first piercing!!! There is no reason not to take the course. Learn something fun, exciting, and useful.

Course Materials

All reading materials you need for this class are provided in class. There is no additional material cost. There are free weblinks included in each class that show you much about the piercing world. You may wish to purchase some piercing supplies from your choice of supplier so that you can practice your new skills.

Grading Policy

Grading Policy:
There are 5 tests worth 100 points each and 5 assignments worth 50 points each.

Grading Scale: 90% -100% = A 80% - 89% = B 70% - 79% = C 60% - 69% = D 0% - 59% = F (Posted: 1/21/2005)

Disclaimer

Not everyone is cut out to be a body piercer, but if you want to learn how, this class will show you. You could be piercing friends and neighbors in no time.

Lessons Outlined

The first Lesson covers legal and safety concerns of owning and running a professional body piercing shop. Where to locate and how to set up for business. It also covers types of body jewelry. The second lesson covers equipment and supplies used for body piercing including cost, sterilization, and storage. The third lesson gives you the step by step procedure for body piercing clients safely. Lesson four is anatomy for basic body piercing and lesson five is anatomy for advanced erotic body piercing.
