Course Description

This class will give information on how to apply for a credit card, find what credit card is right for you, compare different types of credit cards, how to make payments, what methods of payments to use, the dos and don'ts of credit cards, credit card management and spending , learning how to keep your debt low, calculating your annual percentage rate, and much more. Course Requirements
You will need the Adobe Reader for this class. You will need this to view pdf files for assignments. You may get the reader FREE at this address: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html This is the only requirement for the class. Please complete the class within 4 months from date of enrollment.
Course Goals
To learn skills and apply them when choosing a credit card, how to maintain a credit card, how to calculate a finance charge, calculate debt load, learn how to read a statement correctly, and to learn how to deal with protecting your card. Please complete the class within 4 months from date of enrollment.

Grading and Certificate Policies
There will be 5 lesson assignments, and two tests. Each assignment and test is worth points, and these points will be put in the grade book. You will know your grade at all times, and have access to view your current grade.
You will be required to make a 70 percent or higher to pass. You can work at your own pace with this class.
